In the hills on the north coast of Sicily, you can see Ferretta (the little Church), which is part of the small town of Militello Rosmarino, this is situated in the middle of the luxuriant landscape of Nebrodi Park and to the S. Agata di Militello beach just 5 km aways. 

You can see a beautiful landscape from Ferretta, your eyes can wander over the sea as far as, you can see Cefalù, Cado d’Orlando and the wonderful Eolie islands (Vulcano, Lipari, Salina, Alicudi, Filicudi). You can reach them from the S. Agata port by hydrofoil, or from Milazzo by ship. If you choose this quiet town as destination of your holiday you immediately realize you have found the ideal departure place and then you don’t know how to choose which of the many places you can visit. The most important locality like S. Stefano di Camastra (known for its ceramics), S. Marco (which has several antique church), Cefalù, Taormina, Palermo, Messina, Tindari, Catania and Siracusa, you can go to each city by car ald also by bus or train. Without moving too much, sea lovers and mountain lovers can find beautiful places which can satisfy the wish of the most discerning tourist. You simply have to see the rare beauties of the villages in the Nebrodi hinterland, particularly in August, when the Patron Saint festivals follow each other and they draw devoted visitors from the whole of Italy.
